由填寫「公屋輪候冊申請表」當日起計，直至透過申請獲配公屋並簽訂新租約該日為止，申請人及/或其家庭成員，如購置任何香港住宅樓宇，或家庭總收入及/或總資產淨值已超出當時入息及/或總資產淨值限額等，應即時通知房屋署取消其申請，否則房屋署發現後亦會取消其申請。
